How we went from middle school teachers to entrepreneurs.
Office Clean, formerly known as Execu-Clean, began one wintry day in 2002. My wife and I were teachers and had just had our first baby. She struggled between returning to work and working part-time so she could have more time at home with our daughter.
Our next-door neighbor, who had an established commercial cleaning business, offered extra jobs for extra income. Accomplishing the job made me realize that I enjoyed the quietness of cleaning after a busy day of teaching in a middle school. Eventually, my neighbor offered his business as he wanted to retire, but it was succeeded by one of his sons. But my neighbor advised and motivated me that there was plenty of opportunity for cleaning businesses in Ohio. The time came when I paused my teaching career and set out to become an entrepreneur. I discovered I loved being an entrepreneur. Fast forward to today, we have been in business for 20 years and have built strong relationships with clients for years. We are re-launching our brand to Office Clean, but you can assure that we will maintain quality commercial cleaning services in Ohio.
